A interdepartment football tournament was organised on 25th March 2023 by the sports department of IEM.Among all the department winner department was BCA department and the runners up team was CSE departemnt.

The workshop is focused on the basics of blockchain: what are blocks,nodes,hash value, cryptography, keys used in cryptography, etc. Along with that students were taught how to write both simple and digital wallet smart contracts in Solidity.

Wile-The Marketing club of the BBA Department of Institute of Engineering & Management has organized an industrial visit on March 18, 2023 (Saturday) at Bengal Beverages Pvt Ltd (Authorized Bottler of Coca-Cola Company), Durgapur Expressway, PO- Dankuni Coal Complex,Dist-Hooghly, West Bengal- 712310 for first-hand industry knowledge of work at the ground level.

Department of Information Technology has organized this Industry Lecture for students on 21st March 2023. Mr. Rahul Saha of TCS has come and is delivering his speech on TCS IP2.All the students from IT department has participated in this event.

PRATYAGRA, the Entrepreneurship Club of the BBA Department has organized a program "My Story Session" which started at 4 pm & continued up to 5.30 pm. Guests of the program were Mr. Sandip Joadder, Founder and CEO of Cha-Khor, Mr. Suhanju Das, Founder of Letterbricks.com & Mr. Arkashis Kargupta (Alumni of BBA Department, IEM) Founder of F5 Hotels and Hospitality.The program was attended by All Faculty Members of the Department and the Students.

A distinguished lecture was organized by the IEM ECE CASS society on 3rd March 2023 in the science Auditorium of the IEM Gurukul campus. Prof. Dr. Sudipta Chakraborty from IBM T J Watson research center delivered a talk on low-power quantum computing. All the faculty members along with students from different years have participated in this talk.

Mr. Rohan Bask, the Passout student of the year 2020, has come to the college to interact with the students of the IEM ECE department. Mr. Bask is now in NIT Silchar for doing his higher studies. He shared his work experience at NIT Silchar and advised the students to go for higher studies. The students who were preparing for higher studies had gained so much valuable information from our Alumni.

Finance Club of BBA in association with ICICI Securities, has organized a hands-on experience on trading in Stock Market titled “Stock Mind” on March 10, 2023. The speakers from ICICI Securities have enlightened the students and faculty members on the issues:- Government Schemes, Capital markets, Intraday Trading, Opening of DMAT accounts, etc. The event became a success only with the unfailing support of (Dr.) Rabin Mazumder, HOD, Department of BBA, Faculty members of BBA, and the students' members of the Finance Club of BBA. In this Programme, Prof. Arkaprava Chakrabarty & Prof. Soumik Das were the coordinators from the Finance Club of BBA.

Annual Techno-Management Festival of IEM - Innovacion : Empowered by Innovation is going to be held on 11th and 12th March 2023 at IEM Management House. There are events on Robotics , innovative model exhibitions and competitions for both school and college students , Technical poster competition, Math talent hunt , quiz , stock market challenge, Coding competitions, Hackathons , Business plan competition , Olympiads , Photography, and many more events
