News & Achievements

Both IEM & UEM have Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). According to the MoU few actions that may be carried out are :- i) Joint Research Activities ii) Personnel exchange for purposes of study and research iii)Information exchange in fields of interest to academic personnel and students of IEM-UEM & UNLV iv) Academic personnel exchange for lectures, talks, symposiums, conversations and sharing of experiences. We request all our alumni members and current students to take benefits from these MoUs for higher studies etc. We are also inviting any kind of recommendation in the Director's office.  

All IEM Alumni Association members are invited!!!!! We are extremely proud to present you all with the Annual Cultural Festival of IEM, IEMPACT 2020. This year the festival will present INSTRUMENTAL PERFORMANCE BY INTERNATIONAL MAESTROS like PADMA BHUSHAN PANDIT VISWA MOHAN BHATT, GRAMMY WINNER Pandit Subhen Chatterjee , Grammy Nominee Shri Amyt Datta, Guitarist of international fame on 18th January, 2020, 5.30 pm onwards at IEM Management House campus.  

IEEE CCWC 2020 (10th IEEE Computing and Communication Workshop & Conference) was conducted in Las Vegas, USA during 6-8 January 2020 by IEM-UEM group. DAS (TEXAS INSTRUMENTS ,USA) 4. PETER SHIRLEY (NVIDIA CORPORATION, USA) 5. HAYDEN MELTON (REFINITIV, USA) 6. SHANKAR N. SWAMY (DCM SYSTEMS, USA) 7. HOSSAM FATTAH (MICROSOFT CORPORATION, USA) Research keynote addresses were delivered by 1. LANIER WATKINS (JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY, USA) 2. SHAHRAM LATIFI (UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, LAS VEGAS, USA) 3. RENEE BRYCE (UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS, USA) 4. JOHN MARTINIS (GOOGLE AND UCSB, USA) 5. MAHASWETA SARKAR (SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY, USA) 6. AKANE SANO (RICE UNIVERSITY, USA) More than 175 research papers were presented by distinguished scholars from all over the globe in 34 different sessions. Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley has successfully participated in Rotary District (3291) Conference 2020 Aahvaan. Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore and Motivational Speaker Monk Gaur Gopal Das presented their keynote speeches. The conference was very enriching in terms of its content and hospitality. IEM Rotary club came into contact of various other clubs and became successful in building a connection with Rotary International itself. The conference truly replicated the theme of Rotary international that is 'Connecting the World' by making people from various spheres of the society come together under the same roof. IEM Jaipur is in top 5 in North West region ahead of BITS Pilani and University of Rajasthan. This ranking given by MHRD published in Dainik Bhaskar.

Bharat Chamber of Commerce has judged IEM as the Best Management Institute. Sri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Steel and Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India handed over a Plaque, a certificate and Rs. The Indian Chamber of Commerce oganized a programme called INSPIRATION: Empowering Budding Women Entrepreneurs at The Oberoi Grand Kolkata on 19th December, 2019. IEM participated in this event and were declared winners for providing the best business idea. Our students developed a software application called stiQR . This app is an attempt to enhance note making with modern and digital methods of studying. At times , it becomes difficult to recollect the sources from where we read a particular topic. stiQR it provides a platform to securely store videos ,audios, images, pdfs at one place and access it any time with the stiQR it application as required.
