We wholeheartedly congratulate our students of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata who are selected for the role of Area Manager - MT by Bandhan Bank.

Grant-in-aid of Rs. 16,00,000/- is received from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to carry out Graphene Based Research under Research Promotion Scheme (RPS). Title of the Project: “Large area pristine Graphene synthesis by Electron Cyclotron Resonance (ECR) Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition technique” This research is already initiated at Applied Materials Research Laboratory (https://sites.google.com/view/iem-amrl/home), Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Taki as the Principal Investigator of the Project. The research scholars associated to this project are Samit Karmakar and Soumik Kumar Kundu. [gallery columns="2" ids="6710,6711"]

Mentoring is the key strength of teaching learning process. 2018 Batch of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata, Mr. Sayudh Ghosh, pursuing MS at Colorado State University, US and Mr. Shibaprasad Bhattacharya, pursuing M.Tech from JU.

We wholeheartedly congratulate our students of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM ) who have got job offers by companies like - IDFC FIRST Bank, McNROE etc. Placement achieved by MBA & PGDM Students of IEM, Kolkata 2020 passing out batch stands at 60% with 7 months of placement season remaining. More than 50 companies have conducted the campus recruitment at IEM this year with upcoming companies are Bandhan Bank, Pantaloons, Federal Bank, Genpact etc. Students have received a highest package of 10 LPA and an average of 5-6 LPA till date.  

Department of Management of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) in association with Creative Club actively participated in IEMPACT 2020 which was held today i.e. 18th January 2020.

Sagnik Maity, 2018 pass out batch of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), once again made all of us proud with his new achievement. He got an acceptance from Michigan Tech University. Earlier he was an aQuest 1st national runner up along with a job offer in Hitachi and worked for Pharphur cooling tower through campus placements.

It was a big and proud moment when the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur handed over the PCB maker machine (a mini-CNC, designed in the Innovation Laboratory of UEM Jaipur by the students) to MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology, formerly WBUT, the state University of West Bengal). It is being handed over by Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor of UEM Jaipur to Prof. Dr. Saikat Maitra, Vice-Chancellor of MAKAUT, in presence of Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director, IEM-UEM group. In a combined effort to improve our Health while doing our duties towards Social Service, The Marathon Would Play An Instrumental Role In Enhancing Fitness, Wellness And Awareness. So, we the water warriors of IEM & UEM have joined hands to pledge to save water and spread awareness about this burning issue!
