On September 12, 2024, ArthSamriddhi, the Finance Club of IEM, successfully organized a practical corporate training session for final-year BBA students. The session focused on discussions about the financial market, stock market, and stock/derivative trading. Students engaged in virtual trading, using relevant tools, to gain hands-on experience while exploring different aspects of the financial market. The training also highlighted the significance of financial instruments in the current economic scenario.

From August 5th to 12th, 2024, CODE CRUSADE, organized by the Department of Computer Application and Science at Ashram Campus, IEM, unfolded as an exciting 4-day competition. With 30 teams and 120 participants battling it out, the event was filled with intense moments. The thrilling coding quizzes on August 5th and 7th tested participants' problem-solving skills, while the high-stakes coding rounds on August 8th and 12th showcased exceptional talent and teamwork.

Trade Catalyst was an engaging virtual trading event that offered participants the chance to showcase their stock market expertise. Using the MoneyBhai trading simulator, participants navigated real-time market conditions with Rs 1 Crore of virtual funds, building and managing portfolios over four days of trading. The competition focused on strategic decision-making, with exciting prizes awarded for the best portfolio performance, highest single-day return, and top single trade gain. Winners were announced during the fest, making it an excellent platform for finance enthusiasts to sharpen their skills and compete.

We were excited to host a distinguished lecture on "Publishing in Nature Portfolio Journals," organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, IEM Salt Lake Campus. The event took place on September 26, 2024, at 4:00 PM IST. The speaker for the lecture was Anastasiia Vasylchenkova, Associate Editor of Communications Engineering at Springer Nature.

The International Students' Conference on Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Market Space (ISC-IEM) was a premier stage that showcased academic innovation coupled with corporate acumen. Intellectia witnessed a riveting Group Discussion round, aptly named "The Tribunal," on September 18, 2024. This intellectual battleground served as a platform where participants engaged in a dynamic clash of ideas, with perspectives colliding and philosophies intertwining. Participants, selected from six different groups, were tasked with discussing a topic, honing their critical thinking skills, and refining their vision.

The Global Excellence Award, organized by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM Salt Lake in association with the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley and SMART Society, USA, was a prestigious event that took place as part of the International Conference on Advancing Science and Technology in Health Science (IEM-HEALS 2024). The award ceremony was held on September 13, 2024, at the CII Auditorium, IEM Management House, Salt Lake. The event aimed to honor individuals who made significant contributions to health science and other fields.

In line with the vision of the Hon'ble Prime Minister to inspire and empower India’s youth, the Ministry of MSME launched the "MSME Idea Hackathon 4.0" on September 11, 2024. The event invited innovative ideas from youngsters aged 18-35 years from across India under the MSME Innovative Scheme. The portal for submissions was made live at https://my.msme.gov.in/inc/ and remained open until September 26, 2024.

On September 13, 2024, the inaugural ceremony of the "International Conference on Advancing Science and Technologies in Health Science (IEM-HEALS 2024)" was held. The event was organized by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, Institute of Engineering & Management (School of University of Engineering and Management), Salt Lake, India, in association with SMART Society, USA, and the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley.
