We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the internal hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024 at IEM, which took place from September 9 to 11, 2024. This year, the event saw an overwhelming response, with 130 teams and 780 students enthusiastically participating in the 3-day competition, showcasing their innovation and problem-solving skills.

On September 11, 2024, Pratyagra, the Entrepreneurship Club of the Department of BBA at IEM Ashram Campus, Salt Lake, successfully organized a Business Idea Generation competition for BBA students. The event aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among participants. Through this initiative, the club explored the intersection of innovation and creativity, encouraging students to think beyond the boundaries of conventional classroom learning.

The Rank Award Ceremony 2024 for the Academic Session 2023-2024 was successfully held on September 10th and 11th, 2024, at IEM Salt Lake and IEM Newtown. The event celebrated the academic achievements of students, and your leadership and encouragement were pivotal to its success.

We are pleased to share that Pulse of Music, organized by the Department of Computer Application and Science, was a resounding success! The event captivated the audience and highlighted the immense musical talent within the department.

The IEMRE 2024 Poster Competition took place on September 20, 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at the CII Auditorium, Management Building. The prestigious event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creative and insightful poster presentations.

On September 11, 2024, WORDS OF LIFE, the social club of the Department of Computer Applications and Science at IEM Salt Lake, hosted an exhilarating quiz round titled Neuron Blink as part of the Intellectia event. Held at Ashram Campus, IEM, the round challenged participants with thought-provoking questions, testing their knowledge and quick thinking in the fields of technology and computer science.

On September 9th, 2024, the seminar on "Green Building Construction" was hosted by the CoE for Climate Change Research in collaboration with the CoE for Advanced Communication & Intelligent Computing and the CoE for Interdisciplinary Research on Environmental Monitoring and Management. External resource support was provided by the Prem Jain Memorial Trust (PJMT). The seminar focused on sustainable building practices and innovations in green construction techniques. PJMT FLYER

On September 16th-20th, 2024, the Mechanical Engineering Department, in collaboration with IEMHRDC, successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "Rise of the Machines: Robotics and Automation." A five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "The Role of Communication in the Job Market" was held from September 16th to 20th, 2024. The program explored the critical importance of effective communication skills in securing and excelling in jobs across various industries.
