IEM International online English Olympiad endeavours to evaluate the competency, proficiency and dexterity of the students in the field of English Language, especially in grammar, syntax, vocabulary, comprehension and many more things. In 21st century, an era of globalization, learning English is the only way to get access to a broader range of information, connections and opportunities. This Olympiad examination is providing a unique competitive platform worldwide to identify the young geniuses and create a talent pool for the future. The Department of Basic Science and Humanities of Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata is organising a Five Day Language Fest in celebration of the variety and diversity of languages available to a cosmopolitan populace, and to honour the International Mother Language Day on 21st February. This Language Fest is attempting to cherish the various ways in which different languages have evolved, ways languages may be appreciated, and the multifaceted uses of languages. Through different events and performances, this Language Fest will try to put forward the conventional and unconventional methods of language use and sustenance. These events will bring out the flavours and the many ways in which languages can be appreciated at various levels. ISHRAE IEM student chapter successfully score one more hattrick in series of aQuest- quiz, ISPG- project and now RACON hattrick - HVAC design challenge 2016, 2017 and 2018 with 1 lakh cash prize by winning all three award 1st- Rs 50,000, 2nd- Rs 30, 000 and 3rd- Rs 20,000 in RACON 2018. It is rarest for any student chapter of ISHRAE across nation. This shows our competency, commitment, endless pain with determined head & hard work.
