Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) E-CELL (Engineering) celebrated International Women’s Day in association with Intel at IEM Gurukul Campus on 9th March, 2019. Hitazi all star award - 1 student 2. National design competition; winner & runner up awards- 4 out of 6 eligible candidates. 3. aQuest final direct entry for semifinal winner- 2 4. aQuest wild card entry- 4  5. FSAE poster for FITE award- 2 This is the rarest situation for any student chapter of ISHRAE across India and it is a proud moment for IEM students to get this opportunity and exposure. 40 Students of BCA Dept. of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) along with Prof. Nayantara Mitra and Prof. Ankan Bhowmik, visited Mio Amore Production Unit for an industrial visit, where they were warmly welcomed by the officials on 23rd February 2019. Students were given a chance to have a look at the production process of the different baked cookies,partries etc . They were shown the hardware, IT infratucture, machinery and various other non-technical assets of the Production unit. Statistical Report of daily production was also demonstrated by the officials. The Department of Basic Science and Humanities of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata is organizing a Five Day Language Fest in celebration of the variety and diversity of languages available to a cosmopolitan populace, and to honour the International Mother Language Day on 21st February 2019. This Language Fest is attempting to cherish the various ways in which different languages have evolved, ways languages may be appreciated, and the multifaceted uses of languages. Through different events and performances, this Language Fest will try to put forward the conventional and unconventional methods of language use and sustenance. These events will bring out the flavours and the many ways in which languages can be appreciated at various levels. ISHRAE IEM student chapter member after a past successful aQuest hattrick, one more time entered in aQuest Final as they had won the semifinals at Chennai executed between East and South zone. Winner Team received Rs. 25,000 as cash prize and will take stage in Mumbai during Acrex 2019.
