Dethan completed his Bachelor's Degree (Hons) at Universitas Nusa Cendana, Indonesia and his Master's degree from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He successfully secured a Doctorate position at Monash University in Malaysia. He has been working at Universitas Buddhi Dharma in Indonesia for the last 6 years as a Professor & Head in Department of Electrical Engineering. His research interests are Nanotechnology, Hydrogen Energy, Energy Storage, Power Electronics, Strength of Materials and Heat Transfer. Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley of IEM received "Outstanding President District Award" and  "Outstanding Secretary District Award" on 8th August, 2021 at Vivanta Taj, Kolkata.

Congratulations to IEM 2021 graduates - Hrithik Lall and Sovik Sinha for receiving salary package of Rs 2 crores as CTO and CIO of the India development Centre of a USA based startup.  

The IEM-UEM group, takes the responsibility of the proposed plantation of 1000 Himsagar mango , neem and banyan trees over the stretch of 1.3 acres of land in Green verge 1, Action area IIIB. The management plans to involve faculty members and students to take care of the plants and maintain them. The main purpose behind this initiative is to help the self-help groups once the trees bear fruits and at the same time creating natural habitat for different birds and other living things. Land Adoption and Tree plantation ceremony was organized by NKDA and IEM-UEM Group on 27th July 2021.
