Institute of Engineering & Management was awarded for being outstanding Institute for Engineering and Management Placements by ABP Ananda at ABP Ananda Shiksha Samman 2023.

IEM Kolkata was awarded the Times Bengal Icons award at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata on 22nd June 2023.

It was a great initiative of IEM to distribute the Raspberry Pi and Arduino kit to the students of all 2nd-year students of the college. Due to the advancement of AI , the college has taken this initiative so that students can learn so many things in the AI field. .

IEM BBA department has organized a workshop on Entrepreneurship for BBA students of college. Mr. Subhabrata Bhattacharjee, who was the guest faculty of the workshop, came and encouraged the students. The faculty coordinator of this program was Prof. Dibyendu Chattaraj & Prof. Suchana Roy.

Department of Computer Application (MCA) organized a Model Presentation & Innovation Project Competition on 4th October 2023 at the Institute of Engineering & Management, Management House. A total of 12 teams registered and have given Live demonstrations of their project. The winner and runners-up team have been awarded.Special thanks to Dr. Priti Deb and Prof. Supratim Ghosh for the wonderful coordination of the entire event.

AIKYAM-The HR Club of BBA DEPARTMENT, IEM has organised an Industrial Tour at BMW Industries on 07/10/2023.BMW Industries prepares TMT Bars and Iron Pipes. The students not only have seen the entire production process but also have understood the practical issues related to Industrial Relations and Labour Management.

ASME IEM Student Section firmly believes in upholding the values of hygiene and cleanliness. The committee has decided to make a positive impact on our surroundings and instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment. On the 2nd October 2023 committee planned a Cleanliness Drive program, an event that has become a tradition and a testament to our dedication to a cleaner and healthier world.Few glimpses of above program is attached here.

Department of Business Administration of IEM has organised a 5 day FDP on "Introduction to Emergent Tools & Techniques in Data Analytics" in collaboration with HRDC-IEM & LinkedIn Learning. This FDP only focuses on introduction to the different software hence is applicable to all learners without any pre-requisite knowledge. Over the 5 days of duration, the following tools and techniques will be discussed STATA, SQL, SPSS, PYTHON.

The BCA Department of IEM has organised a FDP program on "Recent Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Smart Computing” from 9th october onwards.The main goal of this one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Recent Trends in artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is to introduce the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its contemporary applications in machine learning and deep learning to the faculty members of Computer Science and its related streams. Real-time issue solving will be used to address current developments in artificial intelligence. This FDP will also emphasize the practical use of different algorithms to give participants useful skills. This FDP Technically Sponsored by: Computer Society of India (CSI), Kolkata Chapter. Participating Countries of this International FDP are: India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Oman, Soudi Arabia, USA, Nigeria and the total no. of Registrations reached 765.
