Like every year this year also IEM-UEM group organized the IEM UEM Kolkata Marathon 2023.on 29th January 2023 Marathon started from IEM Management Campus. Prof Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, President of the IEM UEM group inaugurated the marathon program by hosting the flag at 5.30 pm. participants from all over India came and join this Marathon. There were three categories: 5km 10km and 21 km. 300 volunteers who are students of IEM worked hard, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sanghamitra Poddar  ,to make this event a grand success. The Winner was awarded Medal and a cash prize at the end.

Like every year this year also IEM organized Annual Cultural Sports on 11th February 2023 on IEM's own playground. Students from all over the college participated in this event. Thank you Ashim Dawn sir for this wonderful event.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) organized an event yesterday(24.01.2023) from 04.15 PM to 05.30 PM in CSE Central lab in physical mode. The name of the event is "RE-CREATION" where students used non-disposable daily use products to make handicraft items. Studenta had a very good time and fun making these items.

Team Zephyrus won 3 tracks at Hack This Fall 3.0 Team Members - Raihan Khan(CSE-AI) Aritra Roy (CSE-AI) Sayak Sarkar (CSE-AI) Risavdeb Patra (CSE-AI) Hack this Fall 3.0 was a pan-india based in-person only hackathon organised by MLH at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat this time. The hackathon witnessed 1000+ pan-india registrations and 150+ teams. It was a 36 hour long hackathon held from 3rd-5th of February. Team Zephyrus participated in this hackathon with their project Ed360 in Ed-Tech domain and won the Storyblok, GoDaddy, Postman track. Ed360 is a platform that can help students better manage their studies by providing them incentives for doing tasks/assignments on time. The hackathon witnessed 1000+ panindia registrations and 150+ teams. It was a 36 hour long hackathon held from 3rd-5th of February. Team One n Zero participated in this hackathon with their project Khetiwari in Agro-Tech domain and won the first prize in Best Beginners Team category . https://hackthisfall.tech

IEM KOLKATA decided to give copies and stationery to underprivileged children in salt lake."Hathey Khori" was very eventful as we gave slates to little children and introduced them to the world of education. In the presence of Saraswati Ma,IEM helped them to write for the first time and promise to enlighten them through our initiative.

The Department of Basic Science & Humanities, IEM, Kolkata is organizing the Fourth International Conference on Emerging Trends in Mathematical Sciences & Computing (IEMSC-23) from 3rd- 5th February 2023. The conference will primarily focus on the amalgamation of Mathematics for modern scientific investigations together with the technological innovations of Computing.  

IEM-IETE Students' Forum celebrated IETE Students' Day at Seminar Hall 3, Gurukul Campus, IEM, Kolkata from 4:10 PM onwards. Prof. Dr. Moutushi Singh delivered the welcome address. Prof. Dr. Debashis De, Chairman IETE, Kolkata, Dr. Aniruddha Nag, Secretary, IETE, Kolkata, Prof. Dr. Jyoti Sekhar Banerjee and other dignitaries were present in virtual mode and enlightened our students with their talk. Prof. Subhabrata Sengupta also delivered a talk at this event. Finally, the certificate has been presented to the new members of the IEM-IETE Students' Forum and organizing students.
