Arnab Biswas, a final year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering department at IEM, has achieved an exceptional milestone by securing a coveted direct placement opportunity with Barclays as a Technology Developer in the United Kingdom. His remarkable accomplishment stands out as he emerged as one of the three Indians who advanced to the final interview round, out of a vast pool of applicants totaling in the lakhs, where only eight candidates made it to the final stage. Finance Club and the IEM Centre of Excellence for Data Science present CANDLE CRUSH, a 3-day workshop on Stock Market Analysis and Algorithmic Trading. This will occur between 1st November to 3rd November 2023. (Venue IEM Management House Room 4.5.)

To celebrate the festival of Navaratri IEM has organised on workshop on Dandiya. In this workshop, a renowned Dandiya teacher have came and taught the students Dandiya Dance. All the students enjoyed the session very much.

The mechanical department of IEM has organized hands-on training on the industry practice energy simulation tool " Design Builder " for creating building digital twins and sustainability parametric design for energy efficiency.

IEM College of Management successfully conducted and executed its latest Management Development Programme on “Design Thinking “ on October 28, 2023, in online platform. In this MDP speaker has shared their valuable and precious experience and knowledge with the participants and helped towards the fruitful completion of the program.

A workshop on IoT, Robotics, and Automation was organized by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM - Salt Lake.The first year students has participated in this workshop.
