On the occasion of National Engineers day,IEM in association with Vivekananda Vijan Mission organized an Event on 15th September 2022 from 4 P.M. To recognize the contribution of Engineers to the development of the nation the day is celebrated all over India. The program was held in Seminar Hall where students from all departments gathered and made it a grand success. Faculty members from different departments participated in this event. Prof. Dr. Partha Sarathi Chakraborty from Jadavpur University was the key speaker of the event. The Program started with the inauguration speech of Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director of IEM, and Kolkata. Then Prof. Chakraborty discussed the importance of the day and the role of Sir Moksha Gundam Visvesvaraya in modern India. After that, a quiz competition was organized for the students. Department. of Management of Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata organized a session on Case Writing for 1st year MBA students, inviting Dr. Satyaki Ray, who is the Associate Dean & Ex- head of IBS Case Research Center, Kolkata on 6th October 2023. It was a great experience for all of them.

The BBA department of IEM organized Campus to Campus Green Walk, on 27th September 2023. It was an awareness program organized to create awareness about the environment among the peoples. Students of the BBA Department informed people by putting up a green campaign with posters giving significant messages about the growing rate of pollution, global warming, and other issues. All the students walked from the IEM Ashram building to the IEM Management House and then again came back to the IEM Ashram Building. [gallery size="full" columns="2" ids="13638,13639"]

The department of CSE(AIML), CSBS successfully completed a 4-day Binary Canvas, 2023 R&D poster presentation event with a total 55 number of posters. It was a great effort by more than 200 students and their mentors to make this event successful. [gallery ids="13634,13635,13636"]

The BBA department of IEM has organized bconnect2023 on 26th August in the Ashram campus of IEM. Approximately 250 students, 25 alumni, all the faculty members of the BBA Department & and Celebrities from Film and theater attended the program and made it a grand success. The BCA Department of IEM has organised a FDP program on "Recent Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Smart Computing” from 9th october onwards.The main goal of this one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Recent Trends in artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is to introduce the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its contemporary applications in machine learning and deep learning to the faculty members of Computer Science and its related streams. Real-time issue solving will be used to address current developments in artificial intelligence. This FDP will also emphasize the practical use of different algorithms to give participants useful skills. This FDP Technically Sponsored by: Computer Society of India (CSI), Kolkata Chapter. Participating Countries of this International FDP are: India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Oman, Soudi Arabia, USA, Nigeria and the total no. of Registrations reached 765.

An award ceremony is an event at which someone is given an award for their achievements. This could be for their work in a particular field, their sports performance, or any other area where they have excelled. The award ceremony is a way of recognizing and celebrating someone’s achievements, and it is usually a very special event for the person receiving the award. Like every year this year also IEM has organized an Award Ceremony on 28th April at Gurukul Campus. Students from different departments have been given the award.Prof Dr. satyajit Chakrabarti along with HOD from different departments have given the award to students. A distinguished lecture was organized by the IEM ECE CASS society on 3rd March 2023 in the science Auditorium of the IEM Gurukul campus. Prof. Dr. Sudipta Chakraborty from IBM T J Watson research center delivered a talk on low-power quantum computing. All the faculty members along with students from different years have participated in this talk.

PRATYAGRA, the Entrepreneurship Club of the BBA Department has organized a program "My Story Session" which started at 4 pm & continued up to 5.30 pm. Guests of the program were Mr. Sandip Joadder, Founder and CEO of Cha-Khor, Mr. Suhanju Das, Founder of Letterbricks.com & Mr. Arkashis Kargupta (Alumni of BBA Department, IEM) Founder of F5 Hotels and Hospitality The program was attended by All Faculty Members of the Department and the Students.
