IIW-India, Kolkata Branch organised their annual Branch seminar WELD 2020 in collaboration with IEM at CII Auditorium, IEM Management House on 7th March 2020. Theme of the seminar was "Realigning the Welding Education to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0". BCA Department of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata had organized series of activities on 5th March 2020 at IEM Ashram Building to celebrate International Women's Day. 1. All girls of BCA 1st year had participated in a 3 hours Self Defense workshop conducted by Mr. Hansi Premjit Sen, GLOBAL SEISHINKAI SHITORYU KARATE-DO FEDERATION. 2. A seminar was organized by CII on recent trends in finance & role of insurance on 15th February 2020 at The Park Kolkata. Students of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata attended the same and got good exposure from the stalwarts.

28th February is celebrated in India as National Science Day. This day is celebrated in BCA department of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata and one workshop for the first year students had been organized from 12.00 to 2.00 pm by Paschim Banga Vigyam Mancha, The largest people science organization ( having 3.5 L members) which was established in 1986. Students of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata at ACREX 2020 created a new history with lifetime memory for all of us. Total four award, four Hitachi job offers, Rs. 1 lakh cash prize and Germany tour and non stop 90% audience cash prize (Rs.20,000) by demonstrating the HVAC Fire of IEM at this south Asia largest HVAC exhibition and conference student event. Glimpses of IEM VOICES 2020. The first day(28.02.2020) was a huge success with MAKE YOUR STATEMENT (Debate Competition) and UTTER-CHATTER (Spell Bee Competition) . In Day 2 there was a wide range of papers that were presented in the IEM Researchers' Fair, a very creative arena of Videos presented in VideoScribe and a vivacious Palabra por Palabra which drew the curtain of the show.
