The 3days International Conference IESIA 2024 organised by the Dept of EE and EEE in hybrid mode is on the verge of its completion. The inaugural ceremony was conducted in offline mode though the sessions were conducted through both online and offline mode considering the choice of the participants. Similarly, the keynote speakers also delivered their speeches through both online and offline mode. We received good numbers of quality papers from national as well as international authors. the valedictory session will be held on tomorrow at 10am. IEM Toastmasters Club participated in the Area Level International Speech Contest and Table Topics Speech Contest on March 31, 2024. TM Rohini Dasgupta, a SAP Consultant at PwC India, an IEM alumna, former president, and current mentor of IEM Toastmasters Club, represented the Institute of Engineering and Management, IEM Salt Lake Campus Kolkata. TM Rohini emerged victorious, securing 1st position in both contests, highlighting her exceptional speaking skills and talent. Since its inception, IEMTC has won 6 Area Level Trophies and achieved many other milestones. TM Rohini will represent IEMTC and Area K2 in Division Level Speech Contests. Congratulations on this impressive achievement, and best wishes for future contests!

Both CSE and EE department of IEM Salt Lake received 3 years NBA accreditation. congratulations to all members of both the departments and to all IEM -UEM family members. Accreditation is valid till 30th June 2027 for both departments.

The first ever all girls cricket match is being held at CKCL playground, Salt Lake. This match is being played under IEM Ashram Cup.

The MBA department of IEM has organized an Industry visit on 30th March 2024 to Diamond Beverages. More than 60 students participated in this event and gained knowledge.

A 2-day Intra-campus Cricket Tournament was organized on the 30th and 31st of March 2024. The six teams comprising students from BBA, BCA, and BBA-LLB departments participated in this event. In the Boys category, after six league matches and two thrilling semi-finals, Lightning Lancers emerged as champions, with Green Hawks securing the runner-up spot. Adding to the excitement was the first-ever girls' exhibition match, where team JUSTICE triumphed over team SIRS.
