We were thrilled to announce that on 27th September 2024 our team "Steady Stride" from the Institute of Engineering & Management had secured 1st prize in the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp organized by AICTE and the Ministry of Education, Government of India at IIM Sambalpur. Competing against top colleges from across the country, our students presented their groundbreaking project, the "Anti-Tremor Band," which addressed a critical medical need.

The Rank Award Ceremony 2024 for the Academic Session 2023-2024 was successfully held on September 10th and 11th, 2024, at IEM Salt Lake and IEM Newtown. The event celebrated the academic achievements of students, and your leadership and encouragement were pivotal to its success.

IEEE R10 Robotics Competition at Tokyo's Meiji University and the SYWL Congress 2024 at National Youth Centre was an incredible journey! Team Agrian, secured a place in the top 10 among 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Our IEM Saltlake team won 1st prize in the World Robotics Championship 2024's Innovation Challenge, outperforming 150 teams. Congratulations to Debajyoti Mitra (CSE-AIML), Pratyusha Chatterjee (CSE-AIML), Soumanka Sarkar (EE), Shreyan Kundu (CSE-AI), Nirban Roy (CSE-IoT), and Soumalya Mallick (ECE) for their exceptional achievement and innovative approach. We were immensely proud of their success. The project was developed under the mentorship of Dr. Tanima Bhowmik, Prof. Ayan Kumar Panja, and Prof. Amartya Mukherjee, jointly at the Center of Excellence for Advanced Communication and Intelligent Computing (IEM) and IEMA R&D Pvt. Ltd.

Best IETE Students Forum (ISF) Certificate to Institute if Engineering & Management, Kolkata on the occasion of National Symposium on 15th July 2024 in recognition of Organising various ISF programs.

A Group of students of IEM Saltlake has been selected in IEEE Region 10 Robotics Competition Grand final round under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Tanima Bhowmik CSE(AIML), CSBS, IEM Saltlake. IEEE Kolkata section has given a seed fund of rupees Fifteen thousand to complete the prototype for participation in the final round which will be held in Tokyo Japan.

Felicitation Program organized by ABP Anada IEM and UEM group were felicitated with the Shiksha Samman Award 2024 by ABP Ananda for Outstanding Institute for Engineering and Management Placements.

Zee 24 Ghanta awarded IEM - UEM group for Excellence in Placements - Engineering and Management category at the Education Excellence 2024 programme.
