ISHRAE IEM Student Chapter members with their super performance in RACON 2017 won the heart of National and Bangladeshi Industry delegates. You all will be pleased to note that we won 1,00,000 (1 Lakh) cash prize in RACON HVAC design challenge by grabbing both winner and runner-up awards. Problem given for designing was very technical and complete engineering solution of mix use building design. 1) Sakib, Shounak, Shubham and Kartick won the winner award of Rs. 60,000/- cash prize. 2) Sourav, Aman, Abhishek won the runner-up award of Rs. 40,000/- cash prize. 3) Our 3rd submission by Sumit, Souram, Riddhi and Khamaru was also accepted for final preparations and won the heart of all including event sponsor Johnson Controls. Call for Innovators! From its dawn, IEM E-Cell has been one of the pioneers of the Entrepreneurial movement in the Eastern region and has always put effort to keep the torch of entrepreneurship glowing. This time the E-Cell has taken the initiative to raise another step to inculcate the seed of innovation and Entrepreneurship amongst the undergrads and other willing people. IEM E-Cell, in collaboration with NEN, will be providing training by eminent teachers and entrepreneurs to clarify the budding confusions regarding the topic. And participants from the first year who will be able to complete the course with flying colours will be directly recruited in the IEM E-Cell. So hurry up! In a pool campus conducted by cognizant, BCA students of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) & University of Engineering & Management (UEM) has the highest selects among all the group of colleges across West Bengal.
