On 07.02.2023 CSE and CSE(AI) departments organized a CSR activity at Kolkata book fair 2023 at the IEM UEM stall under the IEM-CSE-CSI Student chapter and IEM-ACM Student chapter. Mask and sanitizers are distributed amongst visitors. The event was a great success.

Proud moment for IEM Kolkata
Anurag Deb from CSE (IoT) and Arpan Ghosh from CSE (IoTCSBT), both 3rd-year students, have been selected for the inaugural OpenAI Student Collective, joining 100 students chosen from tens of thousands of applicants across India. Over the coming months, they will help bring students together through workshops, building sessions, project showcases and hands-on exploration with ChatGPT and Codex. With only 50 institutions represented across India and just 3 from West Bengal, we are proud to see IEM represented by two of our students. Congratulations, Anurag and Arpan.
