Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Department of Science and Technology (DST) – SERB funded project titled “Computational Studies of Structure and Interface Modified Magnetic Materials for Nanomagnetic Devices”, project No. CRG/2018/002080, under the guidance of Principal Investigator, Prof. Saswati Barman. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Duration: 3 years
Essential qualification:
M.Sc., in Physics/Applied Physics/ Material Science/Nanotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science/Chemistry having interest in Solid State Physics/ Electronics/Computational Physics with at least 60% aggregate marks and selected through National eligibility test – CSIR-UGC NET including NET-LS and GATE.
Or
M.Tech/ME in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Engineering Physics with CGPA 7.0 or above on a 10 point scale and selected through National eligibility test – CSIR-UGC NET including NET-LS and GATE.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are desirable. The candidate should be able to work independently and as a part of a team.

Salary:
Rs 31000 p.m. plus HRA for 1st and 2nd years and Rs 35000 p.m. plus HRA for 3rd year.
