IEM under UEM Kolkata has received the Outstanding B-school of Excellence 2023 rating from Competition Success Review.

IEM is privileged to receive the prestigious 2023 IEEE MTT-S Outstanding Chapter Award for the IEEE IEM MTT-S Student Branch Chapter.Incredibly, IEM has achieved this remarkable honor within one year of chapter's inauguration. Receiving this prestigious award in such a short period is a testament to our chapter's passion, commitment, collective effort, dedication, and hard work of our chapter members. Together, we have built a vibrant community of enthusiasts, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.

IEM won the SMART INDIA hackathon 2023.Team Geek6, under the leadership of Aritra Ghosh, and consisting of members Sarnabh Haldar, Anoushka Sen, Aveepsa Sarkar, Arunima Patra, and Abhidipan Jana won the Smart India Hackathon 2023 in Smart Automation (Student Innovation) track hosted at Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology, Hyderabad.

Mr. Srinjoy Chatterjee from the ECE department has received a prestigious award from the MTTS chapter. He has been nominated as an outstanding volunteer or his outstanding performance for the last two years.

IEM has been awarded as an institute for its beyond the Campus Initiative.

Team IEM has won the AICTE Inventor's challenge 2023. The project idea was to " Low cost 3d printed prosthetic arm for medical rehabilitation". Trisha Paul was Team Mentor and Nirban Roy, Md. Mustafa Abdullah, Tuhin Karmakar are the students representative from IEM .

Arnab Biswas, a final year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering department at IEM, has achieved an exceptional milestone by securing a coveted direct placement opportunity with Barclays as a Technology Developer in the United Kingdom. His remarkable accomplishment stands out as he emerged as one of the three Indians who advanced to the final interview round, out of a vast pool of applicants totaling in the lakhs, where only eight candidates made it to the final stage. Arnab's dedication and expertise have set him apart as a top talent in the competitive field of technology development. Congratulations to him on this remarkable achievement

IEM was awarded best engineering college in Times Business Awards 2023 at ITC Royal Bengal.

IEM Group was awarded the Education Eminence 2023 Award by News18 at Guwahati, Assam for Excellent Placement in engineering & management (Domestic and International).
