The grand convocation of the IEM-UEM group was held on January 18, 2025, at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, celebrating the achievements of graduating students. Over 5000 attendees, including students, parents, faculty, and dignitaries, marked the occasion. The event's success was a result of the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved. Sincere gratitude goes to all who contributed to upholding the esteemed brand value of the IEM-UEM group.

The Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM Kolkata, organized Filmora, a Film Making Workshop on January 11, 2025, conducted by Take 5 Communications. The event began with a tribute to the late Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakrabarti, founder Chairman of the IEM-UEM group. Industry experts, including Mr. Tathagata Bhattacherjee, Mr. Abhishek Ganguli, Mr. Nirmal Mukherjee, and Ms. Sudeshna Chakraborty, along with technical specialists Bapi Samanta, Soumya Bhattacharya, and Santu Bera, led engaging sessions on storytelling, cinematography, acting, lighting, and sound design. The workshop provided students with an interactive and immersive learning experience.
