2 students from the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur - Samadrita Majumder and Rajverdhan Singh Nathawat from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur have got job offers from Orbittal Electromech Engineering Projects. They have selected 4 students from entire Rajasthan and 2 of them are from UEM. This is a core company with salary approx Rs 3 Lakhs per annum during training period. After the Mega ATV's (all terrain vehicle, designed and developed by the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur), successful run at the international Baja SAE competition, now a racing car has been designed at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur to participate in the National Go-Kart championship..... CONGRATULATIONS to Biswapriyo Baul, Jamil Khan, Krishnendu Kar, Saranjeet Chatterjee and all other student members of UEM family.......... On 18th April, 2017 Hon'ble Urban Development Minister felicitated Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Chairman IEM group at Unnayan Bhawan, Kolkata.

In ASME E-WEEK, all the events witnessed huge number of participants, from all years and all departments. The mechanical department at IEM got it's fourth student chapter, American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The conclusion of ASME E-Week marked the beginning of a new story, ASME.

The IEM Coding Club organised a workshop ( 4 hours ) on "Python & Algorithms" on 11th and 12th of April. The basics of the language like syntax, iterators, functions, lists were covered on the first day of the workshop, while advanced concepts like library collections, data structures & algorithms, higher order functions like filter and map, file handling were introduced on the second day. The students were also shown some projects done by IEM students in python and motivated to come up with projects of their own. At the end of the workshop, Prof. Sukalyan Goswami and Dr. Rajiv Ganguly giving certificates to IEMCO participants. [gallery ids="3779,3780,3781"]

Alomoy Banerjee, student of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) got job offer from Paharpur Cooling Towers in the position of an Engineer with a Package of 6 lpa. Congratulations !!!!
