IEM Entrepreneurship Cell in association with Dept. of IT and CSE (IoT CSBT) organized a seminar on- Journey of A Kolkata based startup from college campus to funding in Shark Tank” on 17th February,2022 from 7PM with Mr. Shamik Gupta. Mr. Shamik Gupta is an alumnus of Institute of Engineering and Management and Co-founder and CEO of Altor Smart Helmets.
Altor is a smart mobility company that attempts to prevent and detect accidents on the road. Currently, it offers India’s first range of smart headgears with behavior-modification & accident detection capabilities among others. It recently got featured in the prestigious show Shark Tank India, that aired across Sony Entertainment Television Network over the past few weeks
There were 325 participants and the session was a highly interactive one.
The seminar motivated the participants, who dream of becoming entrepreneurs in the near future.
