One day industry visit to Tractors India Limited (TIL), Kamarhati, Kolkata, has been organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) and Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) of IEM Kolkata on 19.07.2024. It has provided students with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and automation in heavy machinery manufacturing. Its included a factory tour showcasing assembly processes and quality control measures, technical sessions on motor control and PLC programming, and interactive discussions with TIL engineers. This exposure may bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications, enriching students’ learning and equipping them for future careers in electrical engineering and electronics domain.
