Industry Talk by Mr. Rohan Mark Gomes
Mr. Rohan Mark Gomes is a senior RnD engineer at Keysight Technologies. His primary area of work is developing test engines for wireless 5G and LTE networks. He has worked on the LTE and 5G protocol development stack involving PER (packed encoding rules) encoder and decoder implementations. Currently working on DU-Sim and it’s containerization in the cloud (WAP migration).
His topic for the lecture was ‘Using modern C++ to develop scalable applications in production. Mr. Gomes spoke about C++ as an industry language and addressed the issues relating to the difference between legacy codes and modern C++. He also discussed the use of modern C++ in the current industry products and advised students to work hard.
The event was attended by 79 participants.
