IEMPHYS – 19 is the 1st International Conference on Condensed Matter Physics organised by Department of Basic Science and Humanities, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata in collaboration with IEM – Society of Physics Student Chapter (AIP).
IEMPHYS-19 features the most updated research in the arena of condensed matter physics. The scientific program covers new and important advances across many different yet cohesive areas within condensed matter physics and related fields of research.
IEMPHYS-19 includes plenary, keynote and invited lectures given by outstanding scientists in the field of condensed matter physics. There were eminent invited speakers from USA, Philippines and reputed institutions in India like IIT – BHU, Goa, Mumbai, IOP Bhubaneswar, BARC, TIFR, SINP, JU to name a few. There were participants from renowned institutions all over India and abroad in this conference. 70 papers were presented in parallel oral and poster sessions. Selected papers in this conference will be published in International Journal of Innovative Research in Physics.
The Chair of this Conference is Prof. Prabir Kumar Das. The conveners are Prof. Dr. Koyel Ganguly and Prof. Soumyadipta Pal and the co- conveners are Prof. Arnab Basu and Prof. Dr. Sanhita Paul.
