IEM researchers – Aditya Mukherjee & Subham Kundu under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Patra, Prof. Rintu Kumar Gayen and Prof. Malay Gangopadhyay designed, fabricated and delivered a RF product to industry which is a keyless car lock and security system.
The product features a low loss high isolation 6 way wideband RF switch which is capable of switching between 6 wifi/bluetooth antennas very fast. This has countless applications outside the smart car industry, like radar, antenna array, Software defined radio array/farm, etc.
