The Department of Basic Science and Humanities at the Institute of Engineering and Management, in association with HRDC, UEM, and IEM Group, Kolkata, organized a five-day Faculty Development Program on “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Communication” from 2nd to 6th September 2024. Esteemed speakers from both academia and industry led the sessions. On 2nd September 2024, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, VC of UEM Jaipur, conducted a session from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Three online sessions were held on 3rd, 4th, and 5th September by eminent members of the ELT@I association. On 6th September, the final day, Prof. Ayan Panja and Mr. Snehan Biswas conducted a workshop on Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
