Team UTTARAN (Social Service Club of Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IEM, Kolkata) has
visited Bidhannagar Sub-divisional Hospital, DD-36, sec-1, Saltlake, Kolkata-700091,
yesterday, on 11 th April to distribute 70 (approx.) baskets of fruits and sweets to the patients
admitted there to wish their speedy recovery as well as to wish them SUBHO NOBOBORSHO
1429.
19 Students of the Dept. of Electrical Engineering along with 4 teachers started their journey
by College Bus at 12.40 pm towards the venue, maintaining all the Covid Protocols. The
treats were distributed by the students as per the direction of the Superintendent of the
Hospital. Approximately 70 baskets were handed over to the patients of Male ward, Female
ward and the Maternity ward. The students greeted the patients and they blessed them a
lot.
As a whole it was indeed a great experience to all of us.
