*Brief Biodata of the Speaker* : Dr. Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., a spin-off company of the University, commercialising its innovations in Cloud Computing. Dr. Buyya is a Fellow of IEEE and Life Member of ACM. He has co-founded five IEEE/ACM international conferences: CCGrid, Cluster, Grid, e-Science, and UCC (Utility and Cloud Computing) and served as the Chair of their inaugural meetings. He has presented over 600 invited talks (keynotes, tutorials, and seminars) on his vision on IT Futures and advanced computing technologies at international conferences and institutions in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
