IEM Toastmasters Club in association with the Department of Basic Science and Humanities, IEM Salt Lake Campus has organised a Debate Competition on 14th March 2024 where talented students showcased their exceptional skills and intellect as they engaged in thought-provoking debates that left the audience captivated.Our esteemed panel of judges and moderators added a touch of expertise and insight to the proceedings. We were honored to have
Rohini Dasgupta , Alumni, Tech Consultant at PwC India and former President of IEM Toastmasters Club,
Rohit Reddy , Alumni, IT Analyst at Johnson Controls and Division Director, District 41 at Toastmasters International, and
Dr. Raunak Agarwal , Area Director at Toastmasters International,
on board with us to evaluate the performances of our participants.
The event was a testament to the dedication and hard work of all the students involved, as well as the support and encouragement from our judges and moderators. It was truly a great opportunity for our students to hone their speaking and critical thinking skills in a competitive setting.
IEM Toastmasters Club, which attained the Title of Distinguished Club last year, is always eager to sharpen the Oratory prowess of the students. Here’s to many more successful events in the future!
