The Department of Basic Science & Humanities in collaboration with IIC and IEDC (BSH, EE, ME) has celebrated National Start-Up Day by organizing a Workshop and Competition on Innovative Entrepreneurial Ideas. A total of 14 teams from B.Tech 1st year have participated with their business idea and prototypes. The event was judged by Prashant Pachisia, (Director, 2Coms Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.), Krishan Mohta, (Director, Learning Spiral Pvt Ltd), Rajesh Goyal, (MD, iGarageVenture & GFS Group) and Tameka Dhar, (Executive Director, TiE Kolkata) from TiE Kolkata and along with that they also provided proper mentoring to the students. Top 5 teams of IEM has got the opportunity to compete in the national level inter-college start-up competition conducted by TiE, Kolkata.
