On 9th November, 2019, 2nd edition of 3D Printing Olympiad (3DPO) – 2019 and International Symposium on 3D Printing Technology (IS3DPT) – 2019 was convened at Management House, IEM, Kolkata. It was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management jointly with University of Engineering & Management.
2nd 3D PRINTING OLYMPIAD – 2019
In 3D Printing Olympiad competition, there were participants from different institutions like NIT Silchar, NIT Agartala, IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Guwahati, NIT Durgapur, IIIT Allahabad, different engineering colleges from Andhra Pradesh, IIEST Shibpur, Jadavpur University, different engineering colleges from Kolkata, West Bengal alongwith our IEM-UEM(K). Out of 41 (3D Printable files), 27 files were sent to our judges (Prof.(Dr.) Subhasis Bhaumik, IIEST Shibpur, Prof.(Dr.) Probir Kumar Bose, Former Director NIT Agartala).
Result was declared on 9th November, 2019, at end of 3DPO – 2019 & IS3DPT-2019 event. Total USD 800 was presented as prize money to the winners of 3D Printing Olympiad-2019.
