FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ORGANIZED BY IEM HRDC
IEM-TCS-FDP program on “Blockchain Technology” organized by IEM-HRDC was organized on the 15th June, 2022 at Science Auditorium, Gurukul campus. We had a guest speaker Mr. Abhishek RoyChoudhury, Platform Architect at TCS Research. The FDP has two sessions. Mr. RoyChoudhury started the session with the basics of Blockchain technology. He explained where the technology should be used in detail. He explained how permissioned and permissionless Blockchain differs. He also describes the idea of the Merkel chain. Apart from the conceptual and theoretical foundation, in the second session, he demonstrated how to build Blockchain and showed a case study solved by him.
The FDP was followed by question and answer sessions, where the participants actively interacted. The sessions were highly appreciated by the participants.
