Our Institute of Engineering and Management has the distinction for giving an education of a
different kind. It blends professional hallmarks with life skills and values.
Keeping in trend with providing the extra leverage Mr. Shiv Khera was invited to address the
huge gathering of students, staff and other well wishers of the Institute. The discourse was held
at Biswa Bangla Convention Center in Newtown, Salt Lake on 25th of August’18. This hall in
Kolkata is a landmark edifice and can seat around 2500 audience.
Mr. Shiv Khera is a sought after speaker, an author and Educator. He inspires and encourages
individuals to realize their true potential. His dynamic personality has seen the path between
Singapore and the United States. His research and motivational theme have put 1000s on the path
of growth and fulfillment.
He took the stage for a couple of hours and in a lucid language, with examples from his own
experience kept the audience spellbound. He spoke of character building, values to live with so
that our wannabe executives are placed at the right track. Above all he threw a lot of light on
Nationalism in the true sense of the term. He interacted with the crowd so meaningfully.
He handed over some beautiful souvenirs of posters and books to the Director, IEM, which had
his famous tagline Winners don’t do different things but they do things differently.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the President IEM, Director IEM and the Principal IEM
Management House for arranging such a meaningful and intellectual programme for students and
staff.
