The Management Department of Institute of Engineering and Management is the oldest department of the college established in the year 1989 located in Sector V, Salt Lake Electronic Complex, the IT hub of West Bengal. The Institute offers 2- Year Full-Time MBA Program affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
The objectives of these programs are to cater to the requirement of the industry by providing quality management professionals with managerial knowledge and skills and for managing the business. We lay emphasis on outcome-based learning. Besides imparting theoretical knowledge, the curriculum stresses on developing communication skill, problem analysis, and decision-making skills. Hence, internship, industry projects, presentations, and dissertation form an integral part of a student’s learning. Teaching in the department is highly practical and focused on the requirement of the industry as it is evolved through constant interaction with leading professionals who are a part of the Industry and Academia.
