Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata (IEM) & University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata (UEM) would like to take this opportunity to introduce the unique and splendid initiative of “Run For Conserving Water”. All the profits made from the event will be donated for charity related to water conservation.
The day is not far, when we will have to fight it out at an auction to grab a glass of drinkable water!! Water Conservation tops the list of global concerns today! According to WHO, 785 million people lack even a basic drinking-water service. And by 2025, half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas. Thereby ,understanding the need of conservation of water Institute of Engineering and Management ,is trying to spread awareness about the importance of Water Conservation. In a combined effort to improve our Health while doing our duties towards Social Service, The Marathon Would Play An Instrumental Role In Enhancing Fitness, Wellness And Awareness.
So, we the water warriors of IEM & UEM have joined hands to pledge to save water and spread awareness about this burning issue! Come join the troop of Water Saviours on the 9th of February 2020, for a vibrant running extravaganza in town. Do your bit to save water! Run to help us in our mission to conserve and save water.
